The Oaks of Harford

See Karkung Trees and Shrubs
Drive around Haverford Township on the East side of Darby Road. Drive through lower Brookline, Penfield, Beechwood, Woodmere Park. You will notice some of the most impressive oak trees that are well over one hundred years old. Indeed, several may be over two hundred years.  Their elephant trunks send up muscular branches the finish in cluster of magnificent oak leaves.
